Tia Hawkins Awarded Best Early Careers Oral Presentation at BMSS/BSPR Joint Meeting

Tia presented her research into Nipah Virus at the joint conference between the British Mass Spectrometry Society and British Society for Proteomics Research in September. She was awarded the Barber Prize from the British Mass Spectrometry Society for the best Early Careers Research talk. This is a fantastic achievement for Tia, not only was this her first oral presentation at a conference, but she beat out all presenters with 7 years or less experience in Mass Spectrometry, including Post-Doctoral Researchers.

Well Done Tia!
